Aka write an article with many commenters or make a comment that spurs on a conversation? I personally want to hear the crazies who only post once and again and mainly shout in their posts. (That's not me I just described... I'm pretty sure...maybe...)

That's actually the way it used to be. If you didn't have authorship you couldn't even post to oppo period. You'd have to post to your personal blog and hope people saw it and recommended it.
